This is Gina Jelinsky, your host, and you're tuning in to Hey Venus Radio. This is episode number 135. Brad in Melody stars ever so furiously. Gasping. Gasping. Gasping for the abyss. A thousand trumpets will sound. You are getting very sleepy. So sleepy. Well, don't go to bed yet. We've got a whole episode uh to get through here. Some truly uh wicked tracks that I've been harvesting over here at the station. And you should have seen. You should have seen it. Uh, there were these two huge butterflies. I'm not kidding. They're flooding around in my greenhouse the other night. I got home from work, and you know, the first thing I do is I go check in on my babies. And uh it was really, it was as if they were waiting for me. It was it was it was so surreal. I just I was able I was able to grab just a few photographs before I set them free into the the garden, you know. But I was I was feeling it, but uh my god, my god. We've got one more month left until until the departure. Yeah, well, the second time Hey Venus Radio will be relocating, but but to where? I really am hunting uh specifically to find a spot that will really sustain the years to come for Hey Venus Radio. And for me, it really is all about not just a sense of stability, not just the idea, but the actual physical um stability itself. So we shall see. I do a whole lot of envisioning. I do, I sketch everything out. The whole, you know, idea itself. Gotta put the little light on. It's getting dark out here. Sun's starting to set around, you know, 7:38 o'clock, which I don't really okay. I love when the moon comes out. Yes. But I love when the sun goes down at like nine o'clock at night, you know? But it's okay to greet the moon at an earlier time. I am ever, ever so grateful. Yay! I am ever so grateful, but yeah. Uh but yeah, we need your help. Help us find a new home. Send out those dream home energies, because I'm gonna need them. I'm going to need them. I'm being here. Third eye flavored fan mail. Not a little lavender, lavender blossoms. Ooh, the ace of pentacles, deja vu.

SPEAKER_01

Searching for the place to go. Oh. Searching for the place to go.

SPEAKER_05

Oh. So thank you for uh for coming here and uh sharing your time right alongside me. I'm the dextress at five a.m. So I figured for the occasion, uh, I I wanted to read some tarot cards. I don't know who it is y you like this to apply to. Uh I'm gonna I'm gonna apply it uh to myself. We're gonna look for some answers in the cards. And we see what happens.

SPEAKER_01

We see what happens.

SPEAKER_05

Ooh, one escape. So generally when one escapes, um I'm beginning to shuffle. I'll take that card. I'm not gonna look at it. I'm just gonna place it down, so that's gonna be the first card. Very interesting. Give it some slaps.

SPEAKER_01

Six slaps. Take a hip of my mushroom tea. That's really all you need. Oh yeah. Monday, July twenty-seventh, six fifty-four p.m.

SPEAKER_05

Because you know, I've been packing up day by day, little bits and pieces of my life to prepare for this for this move into the unknown. It's so spooky. I'm not scared because I trust. I trust and mushroom juice that I just spilled everywhere, all over myself, all over the table. But you know what, that's okay. We're just gonna read our cards in the mush of the mushroom weather. Night. Eleven. We're gonna just go with eleven cards, because I think it's nice to give yourself limits so you can kind of focus, you know. So we're gonna see what these eleven cards have to say. Now, very important, before you do a reading, you know, I would uh uh follow just a few very uh quintessential uh instructions to prepare yourself for uh receiving information. What I do is I like to go to the middle of the yard and I look up and I start to kind of place my palms up into the air. I sort of just I feel it too you can really start to tingle and get really warm. From the universe out there. Get a little down and uh dirty with yourself. Oh, stretching. It's it's you know, the older we get, the more difficult it feels. But the more you, you know, implement these sort of rituals to your every day, you're gonna realize. You're going to realize that uh yeah, it's meant to be. So I do my little movement. You want to loosen up your back. Your spine is the most important part of your body. A little inhale.

SPEAKER_01

And a little exhale.

SPEAKER_05

Inhale, exhale. Kinda just empty your mind. I'm not really good at doing that either. I just focus on a sound. We all have guardians. They are, they are, there are angels. I ask my ancestors. I ask them, I ask them if they'll help me. We don't always know what what shape they come in. And that's why I tell ya. That's why I'm telling you. Pay attention. Alright, let's see what fate has to deliver. The first card we pulled is the ace of cups. Alright, there is a hand reaching out from the sky over a pond. There are lilies. There are little lilies. And the cup is overflowing with water, and it's pouring out, dripping down the hand and down into the pond. And there is a white dove that descends. Now, the dove is a symbol of divine love, which really does flow, you know, through our subconscious. So it's just really, this is a card about possibilities. This is a card about compassion. Ooh, a new relationship. There's potential. If you let it in, and the more you give, the more you receive. You yourself are a vessel for deep spiritual love, these possibilities, this awareness. The ace of cups. The ace of cups. Card number two is sacred. This is the card of true synergy. The two of cups. Two individuals coming to each other with each a chalice. And above them, a symbol of commerce, the lion's head, which symbolizes fire and sexual energy. You know, this is uh this is a mutual attraction. Seeing eye to eye. Yeah, seeing eye to eye. I mean, it's a it's a proposal, maybe even a marriage. Oh, two of cops. It's you know, these two individuals, and they're just uh on the same wavelength, completely awake at the knees. Yeah, this is the pledge. This is uh wow. That's uh alright, so that's uh second card. Third card is the high priestess. Now this card actually represents the number two, uh the divine feminine. It's the sacred, sacred knowledge. But the high priestess sits, and at her feet lays a crescent moon. And this is the card of the seen and the unseen. Only the initiated may enter. She sits surrounded by pomegranates. Pomegranates represent this a divine abundance of the feminine, you know, the sacred energy of Persephone. You know, it's uh it's it's the card of strength, card of duality, masculine and feminine. She is the guardian of the subconscious, the high priestess. So I would say encourage yourself to create rather than destroy. And aside her on these two towers. These two openies are the letters B and the letters J. We'll let you figure that out for yourself. The next card is the four of wands, which is you know, this is the card of yeah stability. The safety of the home. It's this celebration. The next phase. Goal attained. Yeah, pretty much. The four of wands is goal attained. It's uh really a milestone. What's this? My god. It's all making sense. Supreme satisfaction. Yeah, stability. Alright, our next card is the world. So this card is rather exciting itself. Oh, and this woman. She's, you know, floating. Hmm. Within this garland, she's looking to her past. It's a new level. It's uh not just the beginning of a new phase, but the end of an old one. So you have to step through. Step through the garland. This is the card of clarity. This is the card of a new beginning. Your body moves to the future. Now, uh these symbols, the cherub, the eagle, the lion, and the bull, they represent the wheel of fortune. The four fixed signs of the zodiac. The four compass points. So it's uh it really is. Fuck. It's a sense of closure. So don't be surprised in how much progress you've made when you step through the garland completely.

SPEAKER_01

Card number six is the magician.

SPEAKER_05

Oh card number six. The magician. This card is the symbol of eternity. It's the new beginning. The magician stands at his table. Above plethora of roses growing. Yeah, infinity. Hmm, the Euroborough's unlimited potential. So the magician is resourceful. His fruition of ideas, all of his desires come from the element of air. He has all the tools. Water, earth, air, and fire. All within his chalice. He converts energy into matter, and he eliminates distractions. He's on fire. This is truly uh This is truly something. Very resourceful, the magician. A level of creativity that we don't generally see out there. Out there in the world. He's he's from another planet. Come and claim me, their magician. Alright, the next card is going to be the Ace of Pentacles. This is the card of opportunity, which appears out of nowhere. This is the green light card. This opportunity appears out of nowhere. You must accept this offer. It is impetus now. To acknowledge the signals. Keep your eyes open. Hmm. The initial stage has begun. You gotta make the most of this. You gotta make the most of this offering. Where it is in its most abundant state. Are you going to accept? The next card is the sun, purity. Little girl who rides a horse. Behind her are four sunflowers. And the sun is above her, shining down. This card also represents the number one beginning. The magician also was the number one card. This card does also entail that although you cannot really, you know, see at times what it is that you're invoking, but you're calling it in because you realize what you really wanted was missing. It was missing. And unless you get on that horse and ride through the field of sunflowers, you shall never taste true happiness. Nine, card number nine, the Knight of Swords. This is the card for dedication. Really uh emotional intelligence. Uh this is the card of make the first move. You found your tribe. You are, you're not resisting. Not resisting any longer. It's just like it's a full speed ahead card. It really is. It's it's you're fighting through the storm and no one can stop you. This is fucking true. I'm serious. So make the first move. There is a well-developed communication that you have fought for. And this is this is very important communication. Understanding your own language, finding those who also speak that same language. Card number ten is the star. This is the card for renewal. This is the card of youth as well. Be it so there is a lot of purpose when you think of the star. And if you look at the card, there are seven smaller stars which represent the seven chakras. This you know, little fairy, this individual. She's got one foot on the ground. She's practical. She knows her abilities. And her other foot is in the water because she's very intuitive. You know, water is very, very intuitive. You know. And uh she she's not distracted either. The star is the welcome of reprieve after really a long period of turmoil. Anything is possible. It's the card of possibility. So as you're making these significant changes, understand that you are in you're in control. And our very last card, and then we're gonna move on to some music. Our very last card. Card number 11 is the Three of Cups. I like that. It's a s it's a celebratory card. And it's you have these three individuals, and they have all chosen to invite one another to take a look at their shared compassion. There's a lot of creativity, there's a lot of appreciation. This is the three of cups. It's a high energy card, you're banding together. So you see these three, and they're raising their chalices to the sky, accepting this invitation. At their feet are fruit, lots of fruit, all around their heels. Yeah. Overall, I am just going to say. That was that was quite unexpected. Uh if you'd like, like I said, you can claim this reading for yourself. I'm gonna claim this one for my this one's this one's mine. We could share it though. I think we should share it. By just those insights. Well, I I I guess I guess that's it. I'm all itchy because it's so sticky outside. The mosquitoes are driving me nuts. You know, I'm wearing two layers here. I've got my snow socks and my my boots, and then I've got two pairs of pants and uh two uh well one sweater, which I had to take off, but usually what I do is I I wear like a t-shirt underneath, and then I hose myself down uh with the sweater on and everything. And then I put my boots on so that I don't get my boots wet. But they get wet anyway, so it's kind of out of my control. My apple tree is doing great. The ants are really loving it, and the squirrels. Um I really do have to. It's been a while since I've climbed up my little ladder and looked over into the other side of the house, which I don't really get to interact with much because it's there's a whole area behind the sheds, and um it used to be my grandmother's little junkyard, she would call it. She would say, just go to the junkyard and and and whatever it is you're looking for, you're gonna find it. And so it was basically this whole area. There's a huge lime tree from the neighbor's yard that grows over this thing, you know, on the other side of the brick wall, and then some Oh my god. She had everything back there. With so much ghee. And so much ghee. I love climbing the ladders and thinking about I love pancakes. You know, I love breakfast for dinner. And I love breakfast for breakfast. I love breakfast for lunch. And I love having a cigarette and looking out at the lime tree and the jacaranda tree. Surrounded by uh spider webs and uh apples that the squirrels have devoured on the other side of the ladder, here, like right on this little spot right uh against the shed. Anyways, so many places around the yard. Oh getting down off the ladder. Oh man, this is crazy. So it's gonna be very strange to let go of this house. There's so many memories. Yeah, speaking of breakfast, my boyfriend would always make me the most beautiful plate for breakfast. The cantaloupe and the yogurt berries and broccoli. And he would situate it so on the plate that it made a face. A very happy, smiling, delicious, delicious, beautiful face. Oh my god, we would sit out here on the patio and we would eat our breakfast and then start working on whatever it was that we were sort of drawn to for the day. We would study different languages out here on the patio. If we were working on an album, we would have everything spread out onto the chairs, and there is a swing out here. Oh, I used to love the swing. That was the best part. Was sitting on that swing and studying German and Czech. Eating our breakfast. That smiley little face. Oh. It was it was heaven. We had this great little studio in the back. We'd make music and play video games and just sit and talk and and uh get a little get a little get a little naughty. Yeah, my my grandmother had this like outdoor cooker. She'd love cooking bacon on right there next to her sewing machine. Under the window from the kitchen. And yeah, maybe we'd be doing laundry. But having so much to talk about. So many nights out on the patio during a rainstorm. I mean, I don't think I'd ever seen quite as many blooms on my rose bushes while I was living here. Yeah, this place is just packed with memories. So many songs. My journey to to find myself. Yeah. During these three years, you know. There are just so many moments in time that inhabit a space, you know, the home. Yeah. This is it. This is like into the next stage of life. I'll never sit here again. But we'll create new memories. And they'll be just as magnificent as the ones that we shared here at this house. I will never forget any of it. I like to think of our love as sort of like a this really wild quilt, you know. And we just keep adding to it. And it's so huge. It's so big. So we laid the quilt out at the far end of the garden. If you're looking out from the patio, and you see the greenhouse on the right, right in the middle, directly is the Bocan Via to the left. And to the left is the willow tree. And we laid the blanket out right there, the far end, and stretched it all the way to the other patio here. And we just were beside ourselves. I just like dropped down to my knees. I hadn't realized how many years of thread we had been going through. Tears were just coming down and and uh you know I looked up at him and and I just saw the tears welling up in his eyes, and he came down to his knees with me, and we laid out on the quilt and we looked up to the sky, and we just held each other there and just laughing our asses off. Like two children, you know, it was so uh very moving, and we just laid there for hours, and we're just going through each and every memory, every film, every inside joke, every uh mysterious um element that it just took both of us by surprise on so many levels that we were honestly rendered speechless. And when we came to realize that we were still together after all this time, it was as if no language was even necessary to for us to comprehend what it was that we were, you know, face to face with this sort of miraculous happening that we had both built. I'll never forget. It's funny, like when you realize that everything you need in life, everything that you actually require at your core, is attached to this invisible thread. And if you just acknowledged it, you would see that it leads you to exactly where it is that you belong. Anywho, that's our uh philosophy session for for tonight, and I guess I should get a little chilly.

SPEAKER_03

I remember evenings when my hair was seen. Hidden in the hallway, I was keeping still my body till it's born ablow. Her hair is soft and her breath is soft, her knee is so gathers me completely in her sient hand. My duck, my lamb, with ocean thunder under me thy waves, only earth and cows left standing. Only when our wait into the waves is tossed, though ships get lost, and fish get lost, and she will wait to greet me where it meets dry land. Some words are stone. So I understand. I have seen her silver figure bathed in bright. I have seen her sleeping in the cold white sand. My duck, my dual. My dog, my daughter, my later, if I'm better, I'll be born again. Find him with my fingers were they torn up paper from some ancient book of gold and worn beautiful writ upon it neatly, though in trembling hands. My dove, my dove, my hand. Stretch out in the dark, and I am loosening. Study in the sadness in your perfect lens. Move them under mine until they light. My daughter, my daughter, my land, and then we're gonna be able to do that.

SPEAKER_10

Oh, and I don't know. I just roll with it. And once I get that vibe, I might be over it. I should be this and that. I should be making it. I should be number one and nothing less than this. So hold on, I've been here for so long. No one, he didn't even notice that I was gone. Banger gone. Now I'm here. Write this song. Edge it here. But I might be wrong. I need somebody now to drop it home. You got some love song. Put it on stair. I get your best stuff. Smile on the cool phrase. You got some love now. Put the ball back. I get your best stuff. Smile on the cool thing. Got a bag of rope. Walking down the road. Oh, got a thousand off directions, don't know where it goes. Wrap it up. We got a river. Got to get that gold and silver. Keep it running wide like a river. Running like a fever lots of times. Now I'm off the rib. Now I know exactly what I need. So I turn it up. I take the lead. All the rhythm, burn the weed. No, climbing letter. I'm already feeling better. You got some love stuff. I get your best off.

SPEAKER_07

That feels like a sea. And I can cover my self is true. And I am strong now. Your hand ever holds me close. And you are beautiful.

SPEAKER_00

I stand in a crossroad of what I've been told and what my heart knows. I choose to be open, my future unknown, my past is long gone. A life like a road that one takes with all its omenies and blessedness. But do I have to walk it alone? I feel like the answer is no. Now, if you let me do walking this road, not alone, but it too. I want to share it with you.

But I could never be lied. That you died a joker of your sleep. So let's put our hearts on the table. Let's show the world that we're not afraid. To put both eyes on the table. A brand new deal. But not conceal that you feld the trumps from the stun. Love's not solitary. Try playing it fair. Don't make me lead with my heart. Let's put our hearts on the table. Let's show the world that we're not afraid to put both our hearts on the table. Would not conceal that you held the trumps from the star. Love's not solitary. Try playing it fair. Don't make me lead way. No, no, no, no. Don't make me lead with my heart.

SPEAKER_12

No, no.
